Case study

Red Bull holds a number of high-profile platforms each with their own content strategy. The goal with RBMR was to increase exploration and discovery by better supporting people’s curiosity while respecting a limited amount of attention.

The current platform, in comparison to similar platforms (ie., Spotify, Sirius, Heart, etc.), was vastly different and very linear – essentially, there was no single tier current comparison on market.

Approaching the project from an IA and interaction/visual design angle at the same time allowed wireframes and Red Bull’s brand language to inform each other, which was key for making sure design systems worked cross brand.

Through research and testing various concepts, the final UX combined going deeper into a subject with coming up to a higher level for context, allowing for instant access navigation across the product from any point. The initiative was a blend of brand, visual expression, and user-focused experiences.
